What are biorepositories and why are they important? Biorepositories are “libraries” in which biospecimens are stored for clinical or research purposes. These biospecimens are frequently annotated with information such as emographic or clinical data about the patient from whom the biospecimen was removed.

Eminat Research Group has a large selection of biospecimen in multiple therapeutical areas and diverse types of specimens like blood, urine, saliva, sputum, cerebrospinal fluid, and stools.

The goal of our Biobank is to provide samples for different types of studies. Many of the studies will aim to better understand how a person’s genes (DNA) may influence overall health and wellness. For example, some studies will focus on identifying genetic changes that might affect cancer risk.
